B) Shipment/Delivery Info for delivery within India :-
a) The goods are delivered by Road through Reputed Cargo company.The transit time varies from 5-15 days depending on the travelling distance.
The shipping costs mentioned on ebay includes packing costs also.The packing is done by us.
b) In some states there are 'octroi','other taxes' & 'Entry Permit' for delivery in respected states which is payable/Arranged by the buyer.
For example:- 'Maharastra' there is 'octroi charges' which is payable by the buyer at the time of delivery. The octroi apprpx. 5-7 % of Invoice value.This can change by state govt. from time to time so we shall not be responsible for that, we are just providing an tentative idea.
Another Example :- Some states like 'West Bengal' sometimes requires 'Entry permit' to be issued from the Concerned Authority in the buyers city.If that is required by the cargo than the buyer has to arrange for the entry permit letter from the concerned department before the goods enter the state.The buyer cannot refuse to make the effort while the goods are in transit, though we & the cargo shall cooperate with the buyer for this.We will have the right to charge the buyer for sending & return of goods if the buyer refuses to make the effort for issuing of the 'Entry permit'.
c) For heavy furniture items the door delivery will be considered as Ground floor/premises delivery & not inside the house. 'Open package delivery' is not provided by the cargo.
The delivery person might cooperate with you for delivery on upper floors against some extra labour cost which will depend on the local area labour charges & buyer/delivery guy mutual understanding.
d) We have 5-7 days holiday on 'Holi' and 'Diwali' Festival. Kindly consider the holidays if the Delivery date is clashing with these holidays.
e) In some areas where there is no direct offices of the cargo companies extra shipping will be charged.We will let you know the extra shipping cost if any so that you can make your mind for accepting or canceling the order.In RARE cases NO delivery can be done to a NON Cargo branch area if the Road cargo is unable to arrange the delivery further from their nearest city branch office.Hence it is always wise to contact us for confirming the delivery station for small district/towns or extreme areas with weak delivery channel.But even if the buyer do not contact us pre purchase we are always open for immediate refund if the delivery is not possible.
For example:- J&K except Jammu and North-East cities of India except Guwahati have weak or no delivery channel by Road cargo from our city so kindly cross check with us about the possibility of delivery before making the purchase to avoid refund process.
f) Please keep your delivery address and contact details updated before purchasing on ebay.Incorrect/incomplete address/contact no. if provided can delay the shipment and no blame should be given to us or cargo for this.
Also special timing delivery on saturday/sunday or late hour delivery cannot be managed by us as it is beyond our direct control.So please do not demand us for such time/day bounded delivieries.You can though directly arrange this with the cargo company on your own if that suits you.
G) Exceptional case of Transit damage :-
*Open delivery is not provided so kindly check the packaging thoroughly and if you find the packing in torn condition than please make a remark on the receipt before accepting the damaged packing such as 'Goods received with damaged packing'.
**After opening the package if the goods are also find in damaged condition than you need to inform us/email the picture of the damaged product to us within 2-3 days of receipt of the goods.
***Please keep the packing material intact as you have to take care for the repacking of goods in case of replacement or refund.
Situation 1 :- Mostly the transit damages if occur are minor to moderate and if this happens we shall bear all the reasonable costs the buyers incur for the rectification through a local carpenter by making an online payment direct to their bank.
Whereever possible we shall not hesitate to send a new part to replace the damaged part for local installation.
Situation 2 :- If the buyer do not agree with our suggestions and do not wish to rectify the product locally than it would be buyers responsibility of repacking and safe return of the furniture back to us on his own expense through the same cargo or through their own channel. Upon receipt of returned furniture we shall make the refund of the original amount including initial shipping cost as declared while purchasing on eBay. The refund shall be done directly or through eBay.
Situation 3 :- If the buyer do not wish to rectify the damage locally and also is unable to resend the goods on its own than we can cooperate with them in the pick up of the goods for the return.In this case we will be paying for the return charges but the repacking is still the responsibility of the buyer. Upon receipt of goods we shall refund the buyer the original amount excluding initial shipping cost as declared while purchasing on ebay because we shall be paying for the return shipping charges.
Please understand that we are selling furniture here with low margins and since local carpenters are available in every city so minor to moderate transit damages can easily be rectified locally.We shall cooperate in full for any requirement to fulfil the rectifications.
Please do not provide unnecessary neutral/negative feedbacks in such situations when we are working in line with our Pre declared terms and trying to solve the issue best in your favour . Delivery is made by thrid party transport companies and it is beyond our direct control.

B) Shipment/Delivery Info for International buyers for delivery outside India :-
a) Sea cargo: - For Furniture we provide Delivery only upto any Main seaport/Inland depot nearest to buyers city.
The Minimum order for seacargo delivery is 2000 USD of assorted furntiure (excluding transpotation cost).
The buyer has to email us with the list of items they require as clubbed delivery and also the information on the nearest main seaport/inland depot to their area.Once we have this information we will quote for the products including delivery costs.
Our shipping agent at the destination seaport can do all the Formalities of 'paper work' for the import and you need to collect the goods from them with the help of the documents we send to your home/office via courier.You can also use your own shipping agent for the 'paper work'.
Once goods reach to the destination port any charges at the destination port are to be paid by the buyer which vary country to country but Majority part of the destination cost is 'Custom duty' of the invoice value.All documents are send such as FORM A (certificate of origin) which helps in some countries to reduce/remove custom duty.
We encourage buyers to purchase more furniture in one order for clubbed delivery which is fruitful for the buyer in terms of shipping cost. The buyer is then also eligible for better discounts.Many buyers have ordered many pieces in one delivery by asking their friends,relatives to chip in with their requirements and sharing the shipping costs with them.
This is the cheapest mode of shipment.Mostly the shipping cost is between 40 to 70% of the total product costs depending on the seaport/country where the goods has to be delivered.
Exact charges will be given once the list of item required will be send to us.
The Transit time is 25-40 days.
b) Air Cargo: - Another option is 'Door step' Air cargo delivery via any well known courier company such as TNT, DHL, FedEx etc.We never include custom duty in our delivery costs.The custom duty/VAT will be charged by the courier company at the time of delivery of goods.
The shipping charges for such deliveries are expensive.Mostly the airfreight is 3 times of the product cost.
The Transit time is 5-6 days.
There is no minimum order for air cargo delivery i.e single piece can be send.
